Vitrified Diamond #400

This is a vitrified diamond stone. The abrasive concentration is high, between 50-60%. It is fast cutting, with corresponding reduction in resistance to wear.

It is recommended for users who are thinning blades with a high volume of MC carbide. However, it may also be useful for users sharpening low alloys steels due to high cutting speed

This is a porous stone, and saturating the pores with water is suggested before use. The factory recommends against using oil, however this has not been tested. As for speed, it is capable of erasing #120 diamond plate scratches within 30 seconds.
